About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a behavioral health and residential treatment setting. The RN will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and treating patients while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Behavioral Health, Psychiatric, Long-Term Care, Corrections, or Residential Care experience
  • Experience supervising nursing support staff

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to behavioral health patients and residents
  • Administer medications, injections, and prescribed treatments
  • Monitor patient conditions and document behavioral and physical status changes
  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment and care plans
  • Respond to behavioral crises and support patient stabilization efforts
  • Collect specimens and perform nursing procedures as ordered
  • Supervise and provide guidance to LPNs, Graduate Nurses, and direct care staff
  • Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, social workers, and community providers
  • Support discharge planning and continuity of care initiatives
  • Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and well-being
