About The Position
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is a lower acuity cardiac unit seeking a Registered Nurse. The role involves providing high-quality care for patients, monitoring their conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team. The nurse will also ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures and may be required to float to units of similar or lower acuity as needed. This is a 3x12-hour D/N Rotating shift position, totaling 36 hours per week, with required weekday, weekend, and rotating holiday work. Patient ratio is 1:3-4.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of PCU experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong skills in IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation
- EPIC experience required

- Cardiac experience preferred
