About The Position
This is a Charge RN role for a Cardiac and Medical PCU, which functions as an ICU Stepdown unit. The unit handles heart caths, BiPap, and cardiac and vasoactive drips (Levo, Dopa, Nitro, Cardizem, Amio). The role requires experience with Telemetry, IV Start, Cardiac & Vasoactive drips, BiPAP and High Flow Oxygen. Experience with Level I, II, III, or IV, Vents, Charge Nurse Experience, and Conscious Sedation are preferred.
Requirements
- 18 months of experience.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- Telemetry experience.
- IV Start experience.
- Cardiac & Vasoactive drips experience.
- BiPAP experience.
- High Flow Oxygen experience.
- Level I, II, III, or IV experience.
- Must have IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS IN HAND TO SUB.
- Must work 2/3 major holidays.
Nice To Haves
- NIH certification.
- Vents experience.
- Charge Nurse Experience.
- Conscious Sedation experience.
Responsibilities
- Function as a Charge RN.
- Provide care in a Cardiac and Medical PCU/ICU Stepdown setting.
- Administer Telemetry, IV Start, Cardiac & Vasoactive drips, BiPAP and High Flow Oxygen.
- Manage patients requiring Level I, II, III, or IV care.
- Work with Vents, perform Charge Nurse duties, and administer Conscious Sedation (preferred).
- Float within scope to meet facility needs.
- Work 2/3 major holidays.
