About The Position

Registered Nurse in a PCU/Telemetry unit responsible for providing quality patient care to a diverse patient population including general medical, cardiac, and occasionally oncology patients, in a high Spanish-speaking environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system.

Nice To Haves

• First-time travelers with at least 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide trach care, chest tube, TR band care, and post Cath Lab care.
• Maintain central lines and provide general nursing care.
• Read, interpret, and measure cardiac rhythms.
• Care for patients on BiPAP and high flow O2.
• Manage titratable drips including diltiazem, amiodarone, heparin, digoxin, Bumex, and Lasix.
• Provide care for PCI pre/post procedures, CHF, MI, and other cardiac conditions.
• Perform 15-minute checks on fresh cath lab patients.
