About The Position

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) PACU for the Advanced Surgery Center of Clifton. The nurse assesses patient status throughout the episode of care and develops an individualized perianesthesia plan of care. The role includes providing accurate, concise, and pertinent hand-off reports to teammates about the patient’s condition and response to care, along with performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure to practice in good standing.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 90 days of employment, or documentation of current BLS/BCLS certification.
• Successful completion of an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course within 90 days of employment, or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course within 90 days of employment, or documentation of current PALS certification, when pediatric care is included in the facility’s scope of services.

Nice To Haves

• One year of PACU experience.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing or Perianesthesia.

Responsibilities
