About The Position

United Health Services (UHS) is seeking Staff Registered Nurses for its PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) team at UHS Wilson Medical Center. This is a part-time position with a 24-hour night rotation schedule, involving 8-hour shifts and on-call duties for weekends and holidays. The PACU is described as a fast-paced and collaborative environment where nurses work with a diverse patient population, focusing on pain management and patient recovery. The role may involve working at multiple UHS facilities, including UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY, and UHS Binghamton General Hospital in Binghamton, NY. The compensation range is $40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is available for this unit.

Requirements

• A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Current New York State Registered Nurse License.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing
• Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
• CCRN
• Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.
