About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care in the PACU. The position requires at least one year of RN experience in ICU or PACU.

This part-time position is scheduled for two 12-hour shifts, from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. It includes one holiday per year and 12–24 hours of call every six weeks. The position is referral eligible and qualifies for a location differential. Skills developed on the unit include time management, patient assessment, prioritization of care, and patient and family education.

Requirements

• At least one year of RN experience in ICU or PACU.
• Associate of Nursing (ASN) degree required; a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Current Indiana Registered Nurse license.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program. Candidates who did not graduate from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they have more than two years of acute care experience, subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Additional Advanced Life Support certifications may be required according to unit or department specialty and patient care policies.
