About The Position
Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU Main Bring your passion for Texas Health So We Are Better + Together Work location: · Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery, 6020 W Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093 Work hours: · PRN-As Needed – 7:00am-7:30pm Monday-Friday · Weekday and weekend call required PACU Main Department Highlights: · Patient-centered culture and focused on quality outcomes and service excellence · Exceptional teamwork and supportive work environment · Fast-paced and rewarding surgical recovery setting · Great opportunity to cross-train and career development · Strong UBC (Unit Based Council) · Monday-Fridays, no weekends, or holidays
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma required or
- Associate’s Degree of Nursing required
- RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire
- PALS – Pediatric Advance Life Support within 90 days of hire
- CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days required
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree of Nursing preferred
- Critical care experience preferred
