About The Position
The Registered Nurse PACU is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing patient care in accordance with established standards and demonstrated skill competency.
Requirements
- Current license or temporary practice permit to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Appropriate clinical experience, thorough knowledge of the scientific principles of nursing and professional nursing standards, developed skill in delivering nursing care, and ability to adapt care to individual needs.
- Fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system.
- Ability to successfully complete a competency-based orientation and annual competency testing of the skills and/or knowledge necessary to provide care to specific patient populations.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications, or currently scheduled for certification.
Nice To Haves
- One to three years of clinical experience in a related field.
- One year of critical care experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
