About The Position

When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives. Diverse staff cares for both pre and post-surgical patients. It is established, equipped and operated primarily for the purpose of recovering patients from anesthesia while managing both medical and surgical clinical needs. The RN provides total patient care along with assistance from the support staff. There are 2 Holding Areas and 3 PACU's--it is a fast paced environment, expectation is to float from one PACU to another in a given day to accommodate the unit’s needs. ICU/critical care experience highly suggested due to the increase in acuity of patients. This is a rotating position for now 12-0030a and 8p-8am until the PACU is open fully at night. The Clinical Nurse II utilizes the nursing process as the frame of reference for practice as a professional registered nurse and provides direct nursing care to patients and families. Training, evaluation and competencies for this role are overseen by a Nurse Leader to the department.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
License Registered Nurse required.
Certificate 1 Basic Life Support required.
1-3 years related work experience required.
Basic familiarity with computers.
Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.

Nice To Haves

Baccalaureate degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise
