This RN position with Riley Orthopedics is a full-time, onsite role, primarily located at IUH Fishers. Duties include but not limited to, casting, suture and staple removal, wound checks, rooming patients, DME/bracing placement, and office-based bracing procedures. This RN position will assist with providing assessment and triaging of patients on a daily basis of both scheduled and walk-in patients. The care team consists of Athletic Trainers, RNs, MAs, Cast Technicians, 7 operative physicians, 1 non operative sports medicine physician, and 8 physician assistants.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience
  • Associates of Nursing (ASN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may apply with >2 years of experience, subject to CNO approval)
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • 3–5 years of nursing experience in an ambulatory or orthopedic setting
