About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Surgery Full-Time | $40-$45/hr Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM-4:30 PM & Friday 8:00 AM-12:00 PM Location: Atlanta, GA 30309 Looking for a nursing role with a weekday schedule and no overnight shifts? Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
Current BLS certification.
Knowledge of current nursing standards and applicable Nurse Practice Act.
Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN).
One or more years of experience in the Operating Room (OR) and/or Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
Previous outpatient surgery or pain management experience.

Responsibilities

Assess patients and obtain comprehensive nursing histories.
Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions and changes.
Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and ongoing care.
Coordinate patient care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
Administer nursing care in accordance with established clinical policies and protocols.
Evaluate patient responses to treatment and adjust care as appropriate.
Supervise and support non-licensed clinical personnel when assigned.
Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
