About The Position
We are seeking an RN to support the Pediatric Gastroenterology (Peds GI) faculty through outpatient triage coordination and endoscopy procedures performed in the operating room. Following completion of orientation, the role offers a hybrid work schedule. Requirements
- Minimum of one year of RN experience
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
- An Associates of Nursing (ASN)
- Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program
- An active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
- Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies
- Ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner
- Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred
- Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
