Core Office Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm No weekends! No holidays! No call! Pediatric experience preferred. Position is for the Riley pediatric gastroenterology infusion room at IU North. Duties include: IV starts, lab draws, medication administration and patient assessments. 8-hour shifts with fulfilling daily patient care, set in a welcoming and warm culture of excellent patient and team member experiences.

Requirements

  • minimum of one year of RN experience
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Associates of Nursing (ASN)
  • graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner
  • Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred
  • Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies
