Registered Nurse – Outpatient – Riley Pediatric Critical Care – Sedation Procedural
About The Position
IU Health is seeking expert Registered Nurses for part-time and full-time roles, offering a $30,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates with a minimum of one year of RN experience. Requirements
- Minimum of one year of RN experience
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
- Associates of Nursing (ASN)
- Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
- Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies
- Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner
- Maintain awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse
