Administrative Triage RN position primarily based out of our Methodist Medical Plaza Eagle Highlands. This position will support our Clinic located on the Westside of Indianapolis as a virtual float. This is mainly a non-patient facing role that also provides education in Clinic as well as injections for an experienced RN that enjoys collaboration with physicians to care for patients that need triaged and medication and supply refills. Experience with Prior Authorizations and insurance as well as pharmacy management is ideal. Must have excellent spoken and written communication skills. This is a hybrid position which offers 3 days remote work and 2 days in person.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience.
  • Associates of Nursing (ASN).
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (or >2 years relevant clinical experience subject to CNO approval).
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN).
  • Experience with Prior Authorizations and insurance.
  • Experience with pharmacy management.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Responsibilities

  • Support Clinic located on the Westside of Indianapolis as a virtual float.
  • Provide education in Clinic.
  • Administer injections.
  • Collaborate with physicians to care for patients that need triaged and medication and supply refills.
  • Assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
  • Understand legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
