About The Position

The Registered Nurse or LPN-IV Psych implements the nursing process and carries out physicians’ orders regarding diet, medication, and treatment in accordance with Firelands standards of care. The position performs assessments, monitors and evaluates quality of care, and documents nursing interventions in care plans and medical records. It reports findings to physicians as needed.

The role instructs patients, staff, and family members about treatments, nursing plans, and related patient care to support a safe discharge. It responds to emergencies, maintains the availability of medications and supplies, and ensures the cleanliness of equipment and the environment. The nurse demonstrates service excellence and acts as an ambassador and advocate for FRMC.

Requirements

• Current Ohio RN or LPN-IV license.
• CPR prior to patient care experience.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency.

Nice To Haves

• Psychiatric Certification.
• Basic EKG.
• ACLS.
