Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse - A4 Cardiac Telemetry - FT Night Shift
About The Position
The Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse works on A4, a 38-bed cardiac telemetry unit serving patients who require cardiac services. The unit cares for patients with CHF and chest pain, patients with pacemakers, patients recovering after cardiac catheterization procedures, patients undergoing bedside cardioversions, and cardiac research patients. Nurses work in a supportive, compassionate team environment and are valued as clinical experts and partners in care. Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan; graduate nurses and new RNs are accepted.
- Employees must be vaccinated or have lab-confirmed immunity for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella.
- Employees must receive an annual flu vaccine during flu season or have an approved medical or religious exemption.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a specific clinical area is preferred; examples listed are Med/Surg, ICU, or OB.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients on a 38-bed cardiac telemetry unit.
- Care for patients with CHF, chest pain, pacemakers, cardiac catheterization recovery needs, bedside cardioversions, and cardiac research needs.
- Participate in clinical decision-making and support quality improvement in nursing practice.
