About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) for a 13-week travel assignment. Operating Room Nurses are professionals who are responsible for taking care of patients throughout the process of a surgery or medical procedure. They ensure patients are recovering or prepared by providing information on the outcomes or potential outcomes of a procedure.

Requirements

2 years RN OR Experience is required
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
Drug screen and background check (facility required)
Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Nice To Haves

CVOR experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Keeping patients and their families informed about surgical procedures
Administering medication and using medical equipment under the direction of a surgeon
Responding to sudden changes in patients’ health and managing occasional emergencies
Keeping good records and maintaining patients’ charts
Using basic math skills adequate for dosage calculations
Working with surgeons, medical/surgical nurses and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op
