About The Position

We're hiring experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses (RNs) to support high-performing surgical teams across Florida in the Tampa area. Assignments are available throughout Tampa and the Temple Terrace Area and surrounding communities in Arthroscopy, General OR, Orthopedics, Spine, Joints, and Paint Management. Choose from flexible per diem shifts or contract assignments ranging from 4 to 13 weeks, with compensation based on the assignment selected.

Requirements

Active RN license
Minimum 12 months of recent Operating Room experience
Current BLS certification
Experience circulating surgical cases required
Must be at least 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

ACLS preferred where applicable
Experience in ambulatory surgery or hospital operating rooms preferred
Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and patient safety

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
Prepare operating rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are ready for surgery
Circulate surgical cases while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists
Monitor patients throughout the perioperative experience
Accurately document patient care and surgical procedures
Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection prevention standards, and regulatory requirements
Promote efficient surgical workflows while delivering exceptional patient care
