About The Position

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide perioperative care in its Operating Room. The nurse assesses patient status throughout the perioperative episode, develops individualized perioperative plans of care, and works as part of a multidisciplinary team to plan patient care. The role supports SCA Health’s mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services, within 90 days of employment or with documentation of current PALS certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of operating room and/or medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing.
