About The Position

Join our Infusion team at Intermountain Health, where clinical excellence, compassion, and collaboration come together to create an exceptional patient experience. Our nurses play a critical role in delivering specialized treatments in a supportive, patient-centered environment. This role involves providing comprehensive, patient-centered care by assessing physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs, partnering closely with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team throughout every phase of the treatment journey. Nurses will use advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking to develop individualized plans of care, incorporating patient education, symptom management, and preparation for ongoing support beyond the infusion setting. Collaboration with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary partners is key to coordinating complex treatment plans, prioritizing care, and ensuring safe, timely infusion services in a dynamic outpatient environment. The role offers opportunities to expand expertise in oncology and infusion therapy within a culture that values mentorship, learning, and professional growth, while upholding the highest legal, ethical, and clinical standards of nursing practice. Evaluating patient outcomes, adapting care plans as needs evolve, and contributing to an environment focused on clinical excellence, quality outcomes, and an exceptional patient experience are also core aspects of the position. The schedule is flexible, Monday through Friday, day shift, with no weekends or holidays, and includes one Oncology Infusion shift per week to maintain specialty skills.
