Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology
About The Position
MidState Medical Center is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for our Oncology units across multiple hours and shifts. At MidState, we don’t just take great care of our patients; we take great care of our Registered Nurses too. Our Oncology Registered Nurses have the opportunity to practice at the top of their license, using research, innovation and evidence-based practices. We offer our Registered Nurses clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as you complete your Oncology Nurse Residency. Student nurses and recent graduate nurses are welcome and encouraged to apply to the Oncology department.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred, however Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Practice at the top of their license, using research, innovation and evidence-based practices.
- Complete Oncology Nurse Residency.
