About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment, including chemotherapy administration and post-operative patient follow-up. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ambulatory oncology nursing and possess knowledge of chemotherapy protocols. Experience with hepatobiliary and surgical patients is also beneficial for triaging and managing post-operative care.
Requirements
- 2 years of AMBULATORY oncology RN experience.
- Chemo knowledge required.
- CA RN License.
- BLS certification required.
- Oncology and chemo experience required.
- Hepatobiliary and surgical experience needed.
- Active RN license at time of submission.
Nice To Haves
- Chemo certification preferred.
- First time travelers accepted with 3 years of ONC exp.
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and other treatments to oncology patients.
- Triage patients and provide post-operative care for surgical patients.
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
