About The Position
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Oncology to join our team. This role is primarily focused on an outpatient Oncology setting.
Requirements
- 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
- 1 year of experience in an outpatient Oncology setting.
- Valid CA RN License.
- BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC).
- ONS/ONCC certification.
- Active RN license at the time of submission.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Epic EMR system is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient setting.
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care.
- Float to other ONC clinics as needed, though this is rare.
