Our Medical-Surgical Vascular unit specializes in caring for patients with complex vascular and circulatory conditions, as well as general medical and post‑surgical needs. This unit provides nurses the opportunity to develop strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and technical skills while caring for patients before and after vascular procedures and surgeries. Patients on this unit may include those with peripheral vascular disease, arterial and venous disorders, wound complications, post‑operative vascular care, and chronic conditions requiring ongoing monitoring and education. Nurses work closely with vascular surgeons, hospitalists, wound care specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care. Nurses on this unit are provided the opportunity to earn dialysis certification as part of their professional development.
