Registered Nurse - Oncology Clinic
About The Position
This is a Registered Nurse position in an Oncology Clinic, specifically within a Hematology & Leukemia Clinic. The role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients with various hematological and oncological diagnoses. The clinic has a daily census of 50-75 patients. Experience with EPIC for documentation is required. The position is a 5x8s schedule, working from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. First-time travelers are welcome, provided they have at least 2 years of Oncology RN experience. Parking options and costs are detailed, with choices ranging from monthly to annual permits at different locations and price points.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license
- 2 years of Oncology RN experience
- BLS certification
- EPIC experience

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an Oncology Clinic setting.
- Manage patients with diagnoses including Chronic Myelocytic Leukemia (CLL), Chronic Myelocytic Leukemia (CML), Hemoglobinopathies, Myeloproliferative disease, Thrombotic disorders, Aplastic anemia, Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL), Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), and Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS).
- Utilize EPIC for patient documentation.
- Float to other areas if needed.
