About The Position
The Registered Nurse will work in an Oncology Clinic setting. This position requires strong triage and oncology experience. The nurse must be proficient in EPIC. The clinic has an average daily census of 20-25 patients, with approximately 50 visits per day. This is a 40-hour per week position, with 8-hour shifts from 08:00 to 17:00. No call or floating is required, and there are no weekend shifts. The contract is for 13 weeks. The nurse must bring their own stethoscope.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Strong triage skills.
- Strong oncology experience.
- Proficiency in EPIC.
- BCLS certification.
- Must bring own stethoscope.
- Traveler experience is not required for first-time travelers.
- Locals are accepted.
Nice To Haves
- Experience administering chemotherapy.
- OCN certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform triage for oncology patients.
- Provide care to adult oncology patients.
- Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and management.
- Administer chemotherapy (preferred).
