Registered Nurse - Nurse Residency Program - Fall (October) Cohort
About The Position
Capital Health is seeking Registered Nurses for its Nurse Residency Program for the Fall/October Cohort. This program is designed for entry-level nurses to transition into competent professional nurses. Participants will develop decision-making, leadership, and evidence-based practice skills. The program includes didactic lectures, clinical rotations, hands-on workshops, simulation, web-based modules, a clinical preceptor-guided experience, multidisciplinary observation, a mentor program, and an evidenced-based project. Upon successful completion of the program, nurses will have formulated individual career development plans. Positions are limited and the exact unit and shift will be determined by Capital Health's needs after completing clinical rotations.
Requirements
- Minimum two-year commitment to Capital Health in a full-time position.
- ASN or BSN Graduate.
- Passed the NCLEX.
- NJ RN license (or multistate license) by the start date.
- ZERO experience as an RN.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
Responsibilities

- Practice collaboratively with members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
