About The Position
We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse to join a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in an acute care setting. This role involves providing specialized care to critically ill newborns in a high-volume unit.
Requirements
- Active RN license (state required)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in NICU
- BCLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
- Strong clinical skills in neonatal critical care
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU
- Monitor and assess critically ill newborns and respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with neonatologists and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate and support families throughout the care process
- Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records
