This position allows for work with the latest technology and procedures. As a nurse in the Neuro Operating Room, you will circulate a variety of cases. This position requires flexibility and dependability and is responsible for the care of the patient in the intra-operative phase of care. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a strong patient advocate focused on patient safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• 1 year Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
• Associate Degree - Nursing
• Flexibility and dependability

Responsibilities

• Circulate a variety of cases.
• Responsible for the care of the patient in the intra-operative phase of care.
• Be a strong patient advocate focused on patient safety and efficiency.
• Utilizing the nursing process.
• Performing patient care.
• Delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
• Coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.
