About The Position
This is a 12-hour Day/Night rotating contract position for a Registered Nurse on a Mixed Acuity unit, caring for both Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Medical-Surgical (MS) patients. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period and may be adjusted based on departmental needs and staffing priorities. The role requires the ability to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
- EPIC experience required.
- BCLS certification required.
- Proficiency in IV starts, Telemetry, and Tracheostomy Management.
Nice To Haves
- Oncology experience preferred.
- Previous travel experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to mixed acuity patients (PCU and MS).
- Manage IV starts and telemetry monitoring.
- Perform tracheostomy management.
- Float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as needed.
