About The Position

This is a Medical/Surgical nursing position. The shift is from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Floating to other units may be required. The common patient diagnoses include post-surgical care for abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and morbid obesity (bariatric surgery). Specialty equipment used includes IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes. The patient demographic is adults.

Requirements

• Up to date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in MS and documents travel experience.
• Travel experience is required.
• Skills Checklist matching specialty.
• Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics.
• Current AHA BLS.
• NURSYS Report.
• Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License & all active RN licenses.
• EMR Exp: EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-surgical care for patients with diagnoses such as abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fracture, back pain, and morbid obesity (bariatric surgery).
• Utilize specialty equipment including IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes.
• Float to other units as required.
