About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. The RN will manage a diverse patient population, support interdisciplinary care teams, and deliver safe, effective nursing care while maintaining hospital standards and protocols.

Requirements

• Medical Surgical nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required (Hardstop requirement)
• Ability to work in high-acuity acute care environment
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple patients efficiently
• First-time travelers accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for medical-surgical patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Manage patient care assignments with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float between units as needed
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate appropriately
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards
• Support admissions, discharges, and ongoing care coordination
