About The Position

This is a fast-paced Medical/Surgical unit that discharges and admits approximately 8-15 patients daily. Patients can be admitted from the ED, PACU, or as direct admits. An ADT (admission, discharge, transfer) nurse is available to assist with patient flow.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty
• AHA BLS certification

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification
• Experience with Cerner

Responsibilities

• Discharge 8-15 patients daily
• Admit approximately 8-15 patients daily
• Manage patient admissions from ED, PACU, or direct admits
• Work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve)
