About The Position
Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Location: 1000 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342 Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Schedule: Days | 3 × 12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Monday–Sunday Local Candidate Policy: No local candidates within 50 miles
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience required
- AHA BLS certification required
- Strong acute-care Medical/Surgical nursing experience required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting any changes to the physician.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Work holidays as required: 2 Major Holidays out of 3 (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 Minor Holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
