About The Position
This is a 13-week contract position supporting MS Tele boarding patients in the ED, averaging 40 patients a day while waiting for inpatient beds. Ratios are typically 5:1.
Requirements
- MA (Massachusetts) RN License required
- BLS – AHA required
- ACLS – AHA required
- Level 1 Trauma certification required
- Proficiency with Epic (EMR)
- Must have experience with boarder patients in the ED — please note this on the resume
- Day 1 tele testing required; must pass within 2 attempts during compliance
- Must complete practice tests during onboarding
Responsibilities
- Care for MS Tele boarding patients in the ED
- Manage a patient load averaging 40 patients a day, waiting for inpatient beds
- Maintain patient ratios of typically 5:1
