About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg for an exciting Travel or Local job in St. Johnsbury, VT. This position involves providing nursing care for adult Med/Surg patients with occasional pediatric patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, maintaining accurate documentation in Meditech EMR, and supporting patient and family education.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of acute care experience
- Active Vermont RN License or Compact RN License
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Meditech experience preferred
- Must be comfortable caring for occasional pediatric patients
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for adult Med/Surg patients with occasional pediatric patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams in a patient-focused care environment
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to clinical changes
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR
- Support patient and family education throughout care
