About The Position
This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in the Medical Unit at Ascension Via Christi in Manhattan, KS. The role focuses on delivering direct nursing care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, executing physician and nursing orders, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating in discharge planning.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care aligned with organizational protocols and clinical standards.
- Implement, monitor, and adapt individualized patient care plans.
- Execute physician and nursing orders with high accuracy.
- Maintain a nursing focus on patient safety and therapeutic outcomes.
- Collaborate in discharge planning to ensure a safe and successful patient transition.
