About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The RN will deliver comprehensive nursing care, monitor telemetry patients, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams while floating to similar patient care units as needed.

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• NIHSS Certification required
• Minimum 18 months of nursing experience in the specialty
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Strong telemetry monitoring and patient assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be willing to work rotating day and night shifts based on facility needs
• Must work every other holiday
• Successful completion of ECG Rhythm Recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Ability to float to similar units as required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry environment
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry findings
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
• Ensure compliance with patient safety and infection control standards
• Float to comparable units caring for similar patient populations when required
