About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry to provide quality patient care in an acute care hospital setting. The RN will care for a diverse adult patient population and must be comfortable floating to other units as needed.
Requirements
- Active RN License required
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification required
- NIHSS Certification required
- Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience required
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Medical-Surgical patients
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms when required
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
- Float to appropriate units based on facility needs
