About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry to provide high-quality patient care in an acute care hospital setting. Candidates must have recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and be comfortable floating to similar units as needed.
Requirements
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification required
- NIHSS Certification required
- Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Minimum 18 months of nursing experience in the specialty
- Strong cardiac monitoring and patient assessment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Must be willing to work rotating day/night shifts as needed
- Must work every other holiday
- Successful completion of ECG Rhythm Recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
- Ability to float to similar patient care units when required
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
- Perform patient assessments and monitor clinical conditions
- Interpret and monitor cardiac rhythms
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient documentation
- Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Follow hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection control procedures
- Float to comparable units when required to support patient care needs
