Registered Nurse (RN)- Med Surg/Telemetry (Nights), Windsor, VT
About The Position
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry for a 13-week travel assignment in Windsor, VT. This position involves coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching, and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. The role requires flexibility to float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg and to any unit within scope of practice. The facility is a small community without public transport, requiring the candidate to have their own vehicle.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years recent Med Surg & Rehab experience
- Previous Travel (at least 3 months) required
- Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
- Ability to prioritize and organize daily work flow
- Must be able to work independently/hit the ground running
- Able to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively
- Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages
- Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle
- Perm address must be included in traveler profile
- Drug screen and background check (facility required)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing / BSN preferred
Responsibilities
- Coordinates total nursing care for patients
