Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele Float Pool
About The Position
Palmdale Regional Medical Center is seeking experienced, Seasonal Registered Nurses for its Med-Surg-Tele Float Pool. These are temporary positions, available from October 2026 through March 2027, offering competitive pay and a completion bonus. Palmdale Regional Medical Center is a 184-bed acute care hospital in Palmdale, CA, known for its high-quality patient care and community involvement. Recently, it joined the Southwest Healthcare network, a comprehensive system of hospitals and ambulatory locations across Southern California. Requirements
- Two (2) years of RN experience required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing program.
- Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills.
- Basic organizational and computer skills.
- Current California RN License.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association.
- Current ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - American Heart Association.
- IV experience required.
- Must work at least one holiday: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s.
- Must be scheduled for no less than four shifts per pay period.

- A.A., Diploma, B.S.N. preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides and monitors safe, cost-effective patient care in accordance with RN scope of practice and adherence to the organization’s nursing policy and procedures.
- Utilizes knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques.
- Floats to assigned areas as requested.
