About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Med/Surg/PCU for a 13-week travel assignment in Newport, VT 05855. This position involves night shifts, from 7p-7a, including every other weekend rotation. The role requires the nurse to coordinate and deliver exceptional patient care, practice at the top of their license, and assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients across the lifespan. The primary patient population will be adult Med/Surg patients, with occasional pediatric patients. Collaboration with providers, nursing leadership, and support staff is essential for ensuring safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of recent acute care RN experience required
  • Must be able to float to other units (ED, MCH), if there is a need
  • Must be able to work independently and perform charge nurse duties
  • Current Vermont RN license or Compact Multi-State RN License
  • ACLS (American Heart Association) required
  • Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  • Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  • Must be able to work independently/hit the ground running
  • Able to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively
  • Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
