About The Position

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Registered Nurse directs and coordinates all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards and collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• Demonstrated excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Directing and coordinating all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
• Collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Floating outside of primary unit to provide assistance as an extra set of hands for tasks such as vital signs, IV placement, and answering the phone, if needed.
