About The Position

This is a full-time Registered Nurse position on the Med Surg Medical 1 (4 West) unit, working day shifts from 7am to 7pm. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the total nursing care of assigned patients. The RN utilizes communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to create individualized care plans, considering physiological, psychosocial, and cultural diversity. The position also includes supervising and delegating tasks to non-professional personnel to ensure optimal patient care. Competence in addressing age-related needs of specific patient populations is essential. The RN works under the direction of leadership and a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive services in accordance with Riverside Health System's standards and goals.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) or licensed in a compact state Upon Hire
CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire

2 years of experience (for $7,000 bonus eligibility)
New Grad RN experience (for $6,000 bonus eligibility)

Responsibilities
