About The Position

This role provides leadership and support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), who is responsible for nursing and other designated patient care functions and services across the hospital organization. The position assists in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice at the unit level and assumes 24/7 responsibility for its assigned areas. The role supports the CNO in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, clinical staff competency, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Requirements

• Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence or practice.
• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven leadership ability and hospital operational ability.
• Ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
• Academic degree in nursing.
• At least 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager, full-time charge nurse, or related position.

• Bachelor's or master's degree.
