About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse Manager in the Stepdown Intermediate Care department at Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh, WI. The position is full-time. The manager will lead and empower unit staff through hiring, training, and professional development. They will elevate patient care quality by identifying and resolving operational challenges and optimize clinical operations by developing and refining unit policies and workflows. The role also involves overseeing strategic resource management, including unit budgets and operational expenditures.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in.
Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
