About The Position
The Registered Nurse Manager provides leadership and support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), who is responsible for nursing and other designated patient-care functions and services across the hospital. The manager assists with assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice at the unit level and assumes 24/7 responsibility for assigned areas. The role supports the CNO in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, clinical staff competency, and effective resource management related to patient care. Requirements
- Maintain an active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence or practice.
- Have an academic degree in nursing.
- Have at least 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse or in a related position.
- Demonstrate highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate proven leadership ability and hospital operational ability.
- Be able to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
